Great Dealer - want to show appreciation

I've got a great Mazda Service Dept here I'm working with who has been wonderful to work with and very cooperative with everything. They are extremely knowledgable and have been great to me and have gone out of their way to make me happy. How should I show my graditude? Can I write a letter to Mazda or something to say "Thank you?"

Im sure you could wite to Mazda NA, however, I was advised by my dealer (who also provides excellent service) that a survey is mailed out within a few weeks of my appointment. I plan on providing my glowing feedback via the survey.

I was in for warranty work, if that matters.

Yes you should get a survey within a couple weeks which is a good way to tell Mazda what you think. The BEST way though is to find out who the General Manager, president and the owner is and write them a letter or email mentioning the employees names that helped you and that way the employee will get the proper recognition from the owner and general manger and president of the company. just call the operator and ask for the names and the mailing address.

I wrote to Mazda NA several times to tell them how great my Service Manager was. I also took a phone survey and gave him great reviews.

For Christmas, I gave him and his lead mechanic gift certificates to Outback.

Overall, these guys get sh*t on all day by people bitching them out over the smallest things. Like anyone else, being appreciated for the job you do is important.

Unfortunately, the owner told Mazda to drop dead and now it's a Kia dealership
