Pre-Measured Oil Containers

I was thinking of pre-measuring motor oil in smaller containers. And when I check the oil on the dipstick and need some, I just reach for my small container and dump it in. My question is, how small to make the oil shots? Given that the manual says the amount between Low ond Full is 1.8 US Quarts, I was thinking of 1/4 Qt. vials of oil. That way, I can just dump the entire vial into the engine without worrying about spilling any out of the larger quart bottle. No funnel needed. Anybody already do this?

Seems like a lot of work to me.....the 1L bottles are spill proof, and small enough to not take up much room. :D

They also come pre-filled from the factory....>:D

I love more work - as long as it concerns my car and not my day job.
