... won't we start drawing the attention of those earth-liberationists who go out and torch gas hogs?

agreed. rev the 8 to 9k rpms in every gear and get 10mpg and then be happy just to make them mad.

Gas mileage is terrible......

If you want to meet some fellow gas mileage whiners, Google the phrase - "the gas mileage is terrible"....

Element owners, Subaru owners, even SRT4 owners, and no-one squeeling louder than those that bought 'hybrids' - sure they get 32 to the gallon, but that is about HALF what they were promised! :D :D
