Tomorrow, my car is getting the following fixed (hopefully):

1. Rough idle / near stalling when fully idle after car warmed up (could be bad spark plugs or injectors or something worse)
2. Squealing brakes
3. Film on the inside of headlights
4. Rattling rear view mirror
5. Passenger side seat belt bolt cover replaced
6. Moon roof rattle
7. N flash

Anything else I should get them to look at while it's in there? cuz I have no idea when i'll get it back from all this crap.

I can't think of anything to add off-hand, but good luck and speedy recovery!

Ajax, which dealership are you taking it to? I would like to get everything on your list covered under warranty except 1, 3, and 5. I bought from Freeman Mazda near Texas stadium...

Good going, I just had much of the same fixed on mine. They acctually had to replace the headlights as they are sealed assy's. Make sure they aim them!!

I'm speaking from experience on that one... I picked up my car in the afternoon. Checked everything out to make sure it worked okay, which it did. So I drove home. I went out later that afternoon, which turned into night. You guessed it, I ended up driving home hardly being able to see 3 feet in front of me, they were aimed so low. I ended up doing a quicky aim myself via the DIY fourm. Took it back in, and had them do it right.

Let me know what they come up with on the Sunroof rattle... My dealer has been unsuccessful on that one.

Good luck, hopefully your guys won't drop the ball on the headlights.

I dropped it off. I apparently gave them too much work as they gave me a rental. They said they'd need to keep it over night. I'm driving a chevy blazer that seats 9! OMG, lol. It was that or a malibu max (which is fugly) so I took the blazer, lol.

It handles better than the monte carlo i had last time but seriously, they need to get some more mazda 3's at budget.

Good point about the headlights...mine have been slightly misaligned since I bought the car. I'm going to take mine to Freeman since they're close to where I live and work. 7000 miles on my 8, purchased last august.

So your passenger seat belt bolt cover came off, too? I just noticed mine missing last week. Found it under the front seat and cannot get that sucker to stay on. Looks like I'll add that to the list on my next trip to the dealership.

My cover on the driver side has been off since day one. I bought some super glue because the prongs aren't holding. I just haven't had a chance to do it yet.
