18x9 will throw you out of B Stock. If you are not planning on running stock, have you looked into 17" wheels? Cheaper, lighter, and more tire sizes available.

Doesn't Kosei make a 17x8 now in a decent offset? Not only would you get the benefits of reduced weight, but all the benefits from reduced wheel diameter to boot. You could even run a similar or smaller profile tire (then stock) and give yourself more aggressive gearing.

This year to run STU I'm using Kosei K1 TS 17x8 with Kumho MX 255/40x17 which saves about 7.5 pounds per corner compared to the OEM wheel and tire. Cost me $1500 mounted and ballanced through TireRack.

Edit: Forgot to say to call TireRack because they will not show undersized wheels on their website. Call Conner and he will hook you up.

Inexpensive lightweight wheels are very rare. What price range are you thinking?

Try Velox wheels, I'm not sure if they have them in the correct offset but the brand is fairly inexpensive, and they carry lightweight wheels. I believe their site is www.veloxperformance.com

If money isn't an issue, I want Work wheels, www.worksuperwheels.com . I haven't seen any 8s with them.
