I am writing this in the SE forum to see if anyone would be interested in having center exit exhaust. I have done this on my own 8 with great success And I am offering it to those in the SE that can drop their 8 off at my shop due to some minor changes that must be made. No changes performed are permanent with the exception of the trimming of the bumper. This exhaust is a straight through design with fewer bends than factory. It has a low note below 4K and an interesting sound above that sounds like air rushing in and out of the motor.
I will post pictures and dyuo results as I have them.

Can you tell us any more about it? How much does it weigh compared to the stock unit?

 

what did you do with the two holes from where the factory set up was?

 

The hole unit weighs between 8 and 10 lbs less than stock.

I have not done anything with th OE exit holes yet but I plan to install black diamond
screen to match the pattern on the bumper. This can also be done for others if requested.

 

Can we get a pic of the whole back of the car?
