XMen Spoiler and Rear Billet

Just getting started real good. I just added the spoiler last night (in the dark). I guess I need to start working on the front!

Nice Slim, am I sensing some competition among the FW reds? Bad news for you: did my taxes yesterday and my 8 is benefitting from the refund.

PS: what did we tell you about that front license plate!

Yeah, I know... I gotta lose the front plate. I just know I will get stopped as soon as I do. I still have my 2 Mazda payments waiting to be spent. I guess 1 will go toward a deductible to pay for my key marks down the side. I haven't decided what to do with the front. I really wanted the Front Mask, but everyone is voting against it. What does everyone think?

Wow... I guess one word says it all. I like it. Oh well, I guess I'll find something else for the front.

Hmmm, that's decent... I think. Maybe not. I don't want a full kit, and I don't want a front spoiler that is anylower than I need to go. I thought about going with a CF hood, but I don't think I like that either.

Dazy, go ahead and elaborate!

takes away from the curves of the front and that's what makes the car so hot. as joseph says, "everytime i see your car i think, man that's sexy!" fog lamps and rotary accent look lost in the dark. i get compliments ALL THE TIME on the color alone, even fellow 8 owners say that red looks best. why take away from that with a big black mask?

I guess my thought was not to take away from the red, but accent the rest of the car. I need to just get the factory air dam I guess... or find one that isn't too big.

I did the Billet myself... there is a DIY on here somewhere.

I thought the mask's purpose was to protect it from rock chips and such

It is... but it tends to flap around unless it is real right. Then it wears the paint out around the edges. I had a Bikini on a ranger of mine. I loved the way it looked, but it took the paint off.

Also you can't let it stay on while it is wet it will discolor the paint. So to take it off every storm and to wash the car = pain in the @$$ as well.

Slim...

Where did you get the wing?
Did you get it prepainted?
If so, is the paint a perfect match?

sorry to be all inquisitive but I've wanted one for a while

I got it from Ebay, yes it was prepainted, and yes it is most definitely a perfect match.
