suspension recommendation

I need recommendations from u guys! What do you guys know about the Buddy Club Racing Spec Dampers? and my other choice is the HKS Hipermax II. I have a buddy club body kit on the way for the fact of my custom exhaust, but suspension wise what do you guys recommend, i have s-tech in now, but want something adjustable for the kit and that will offer the best handling, i don't care too much for comfort since i'm so use to rough roads.

HKS VS. Buddy Club?!

I emailed Buddy Club last week and was told the Racing Spec Dampers should be out in 6 months. No pricing as of yet.

I started a thread about these coilovers last week, but got only one reply.
I think the HKS are great, probably more streetable from what I have read on this and other forums.

I read up on opinions of coilovers at multiple forums, such as Subaru WRX, Mitsu Evo, Honda S2000, RX7club and between HKS and Buddy Club I would go with the Buddy Clubs.

Zeal also just released the two coilovers for the RX-8 as well, the Function Xs, and Function X.

Check out the AutoRND section of the Vendor forum for info on them. There pretty expensive though.

reason i asked

Hopupracing.com has the buddy club coilovers for sale, is why i'm confused by u saying they're for sale in 6 months. I may just go with HKS. How stiff is the ride on the zeals? does anyone know and what would be better?! HKS or Zeal?

Wow, youre right. Thats weird, why would Buddy Club U.S. tell me 6 months? And on www.buddyclub.us it states "TBA" for the RX-8 application.

I would call Hopup before ordering and confirm the set will work properly with the RX-8.

Heres the email I got from Buddy Club.

Hello Chris,

The Buddy Club racing spec damper for the Mazda RX-8 will be release in
about 6 months. We don't have any price on them yet because we haven't
release them yet. If you would like to order this damper please try
www.gogoautoshop.com or www.passwordjdm.com.

Best,
Jimmy Buddy Club USA

Concerning the HKS or Zeal. If money is not an object, go with the Zeals. From the info/opinions Ive seen there's no better set for the money.

For a little background on the Zeals check out this thread.
