Just noticed they plugged it!!!
I had the dealer rotate my stock tires the other day and I mentioned a slow leak in one of them. They charged $16 for the rotation and mentioned they repaired the questionable tire. Today I noticed a big ol plug right in the center of the tire. Is this now acceptable on these high speed jobbies or should I raise all sorts of hell?

Not for that rated tire, you shouldn't plug it from the outside. It needs to be done properly from the inside.
Not that I am promoting going above the speed limit, but just say you are doing 110-130mph on the track, imagine the forces being put on that outside plug?

You cannot tell by looking at the plug if they plugged it from the outside or used a patch/plug and fixed it from the inside. You have to ask the dealer. If it was patch/pulgged from the inside, it should be fine ........ but not acceptable if plugged from the outside.
