Question Good questions...

Does anyone know where the RX-8s are being bullt and where they come into the country.... I have heard that where they come into the country you can get them cheaper! Or are they being built here? Any help would be appreciated. I live in Atlanta but would be willing to fly somewhere to pay cheaper than MSRP. Most dealers I have talked to are trying to charge more than MSRP. Thanks!

There are plenty of dealers selling for MSRP- they want any more than that, just walk. However, I don't think you're going to find many selling below MSRP, and even if you do, the cost of flying there to pick it up would more than make up the money you'd save (unless you got one of those $99 deals somewhere).

Thanks for the replies so far. But I still dont know where they are entering the country! And I can't find that posting by Toadman by the way Zoom44. I figured they were being built in Japan but, I thoguht they might be like the "German" built Z4.... actually built in SC.

i did not mean to imply that cars would only come to the west coast. i just did not feel like doing the search for the rest of the info. there was a post from justinm2 saying that the east coast port was Jacksonville florida and another post in the last day or two stating that it took almost 2 weeks longer for ships to get around to the east coast than to the west coast. check this thread for that post.

Ports

Thanks for all the help... is it true that where they come into the country you can get them cheaper? I can get really cheap airline tickets so it might be worth the flight.
