Haven't read it yet, but my friend who referred me to it was saying something along the lines of 300HP.

Yes Mazda expects 300hp with a supercharger powering the RX8 to 5.5 0-60mph range.

 

Its the first time I've seen it today.

Huh? 300 horsepower and still only 5.5 0-60 range? That mustnot be 300 whp then. Correct meif Im wrong but arent some of you able tomake 5.9 0-60 right now even w/the bogus 238 horsepower rating you guys have?

Hopefully their number was a typo and they meant 4.5 0-60 b/c 5.5 is just weak and not worth theupgrade if you askme.

 

Since when do Magazines quote wheel hp? Of course its gonna be engine hp.

 

No, it's 275 hp, not 300 hp. Estimated time was 5.5 sec., and 14 flat in the 1/4 mi. About 1/2 sec. improvements on both times.

 

Where is this speed magazine...I have yet to see it in a store

 

Yeah it has rx-8's all over that mag. Must have issue.
