Fully adjustable (height, caster, low and hi-speed bump and rebound) dampers. Double spring (helper and main spring) and uniball. Sway bar also adjustable (hard, medium or soft position). Made by us (Astra team).

From astraracing.com:

[admin] Thursday, November 25 @ 10:12:59 CET

Here is the first official image of the supercharged RX-8 that will make its world debute (dinamically!!) at the 2004 MotorShow of Bologna...

We are working for you ;-) "

And yes, please, why DO the wheels stay up when on the lift???
plus more about the suspension...it sounds very very very nice..
you say you have made it, obviously it is very advanced....tell us
more 'bout how it handles.

And very attractive 8 you have there, love the white w/graphics.

The std damper kit we're using for racing use for tha national rx8 sport cup championship, with separate canisters, front spring k is 180, rear is 130. For rally use on tarmac and hillclimbs tha damper stroke is wider (about 50mm more), K is 120 front and 90 rear with k25 helpers. Rates are simply different but fully adjustable, as heights are. Also sway bars are adjustable.

Are these Essepi adjustable units shown here in red/yellow/gold? http://www.essepiassetti.com/ingl/base_amm.htm

If so, are the dampers stock orderable units from them with a part number or do you just specify (as you have above) what you want in specification? And hiow easy is it to adjust, can it be done while units are mounted on the car? Thanks.

Oh and can you tell us how the wheels stay up while on the lift in the picture earlier in the thread. It looks so weird!

Have you guys never heard of droop limiting? It is common to set up race cars such that the droop is minimized by using shorter shock bodies and shafts.

No I've never set up a race car nor ever heard of droop limiting. Now I have, thanks.

The Company ESSEPI builds those RX8 dampers exclusively for us, under our specs and design.
