TPS Light on - 300miles

TPS Light on - 300miles

Hello all,

I have my rx8 with 300 miles only.
This morning I started the car and Tire Pressure Light was on, after 10 min ride ot turned off. The tires look ok to me. I'll check the pressure tomorrow during fill up.

Is this a normal behavior?

The outside temp was 10C this morning

Normal if your tires are underinflated. Your tire pressures were probably below the threshold when cold and as you drove they warmed up and the pressure increased to above the threshold. Check your pressures with the tires cold and set to 32PSI.

Lots of postings on this forum concerning this "issue". You might want to do some searches.

It's normal if your tires are on the low side of triggering the TPMS... one or more of your tires are probably in the low to mid 20's PSI. Get them all up to 32PSI, and keep them there, and the light should go away for good.
