ok so my friend's rx-8 got rearended and he needs to get it fixed. the only thing damaged was the rear diffuser. if he found a new rear diffuser, could he have a shop plastic weld it back on? does it look good? will any body shop know how to plastic weld? thanks.

 

A good bodyshop should be able to repair the damage.... if not, they should be able to recommend a place that will be able to fix it.
