Any word yet as to whether production on USA RX-8's began today as we have been led to believe?

It's early morning Tuesday the 13th in Japan (I think) and I've checked my email all day Monday USA time and no updates. Checking the Mazda website... nothing new anywhere there.
I imagine one of us may email rxorders tomorrow to see if they know anything... but, I'd give them a couple days to get things going - certainly not panick time yet!

 

Definately not time to panick!! I am just so anxious. I say that as if the rest of you aren't.

 

I sent an email to rx8orders. They are (Ashley) looking into it and will let me know.

 

They responded VERY quickly if they are already looking into it.

I thought US production started like 6 weeks ago??

back in Feb, the estimated build dates for US were the first week of April. As of about two weeks ago, Mazda's schedule stated May 12 as the start date. Before that we are supposed to get VIN assignment emails. It appears nobody received that yet.
