Its an LCD, has a pivot, I can rotate it by hand, and I leave it in portrait mode most of the time.

So do I, but my system is set up to display wallpaper full-size on each screen. And the taskbar is on the left-hand screen only (keeps the dialogs from being split between the 2 monitors).
