i have looked on www.parts.com and all they have for '04 is the mpv. My friend who has an rx8 scratched up a piece of his intieror pretty good over the weekend transporting a gun safe. the dealer quoted him a pretty hefty price for it and installation.

also.. the dealer reccomended getting some one to fix it rather than replace it. i have and an interior part fixed (touched up) in my car before, its in the rear of my car and it has a slightly different finish to it than the rest..

 

You can try contacting Trussville Mazda directly. They usually have really good prices on OEM parts. You'll probably have to email them about the specific part, though, since I doubt they have it listed on their website. Typically, I find their prices to be 25% to 50% lower than the local (SF Bay Area) dealers.
