I Am just curios if any one or Heard of someone's Rx8 hade blown their Engines yet.

 

Racing Beat has blown at least one. I haven't heard of any consumers blowing one yet though.

 

There have been quite a few according to I think Canzoomer. According to him shortly after release they ran out of surplus engines in North America which I believe was around 60. Canzoomer was also one of those that had to have his engine replaced.

 

Ohhhh...nasty!

 

Haven't heard much of anything about it since, though. And that 60 number was still a VERY tiny % of all the 8s sold, and comparable to ANY new model.

 

And I think most of those where some type of internal coolant leak?

 

i heard people were redlining their cars before they warmed up, causing the coolant leaks
