Built Feb '04. Only problem was an improperly installed float in the fuel tank which caused my gauge to read at 1/2 tank, when in actuality it was empty. I ran out of gas on the freeway, but Mazda roadside was quick, and the dealer fixed it no problem.

Oct 03. 7500 miles. Brakes on order due to squeal (TSB). Replaced tunnel crossmember due to obstacle in road (3 days in the car and forgot I wasn't in my truck; no body damage, though). Gotta few rattles inside with the radio up a bit, but I figure it's normal.

All the various recalls and updates. At this point, I can't remember all of them.
2 floods, had car towed
Flapping inner fender liner on passenger side
Radio changes stations on it's own.
2 CEL's, were reset

More problems than a typical new car, but nothing catastrophic. Love the car.

Two weeks / 2500km later Brilliant Black GT 2005

New to the Forum, hello all! Absolutley loved my MX-6 and this is carrying on the tradition of driving pleasure. Pink Floyd blasting and a grin ear to ear.
Built August '04 or there about's. Two differences with the 2005, keyless entry has retractable key like the Volkswagon / Audi version. Very handy and they have dropped the two tone interior = mine solid Black on Black.

This car is a rocket and I have yet to really let it out. Mind you I do not baby it as I was told carbon build up of any kind is not good for a rotary.

I have just started reading some of the threads in this forum and found them to be very informative.

Salut and keep the rubber side down!
