Question Current price of GS - Ontario

Local dealer has a bare-bones 04 GS on the floor. What would be a fair price this late in the season? Anyone know the list?

Thanks. J.

$39000 to $41000 on the road... That should be the price range for now.

HELL NO!!! I don't mean to be rude but that is the price you should be paying for a 2004 GT (including taxes in Alberta!!). In Ontario expect to pay ~2000 more (from PST) so approx 42-43K all in.

As for the GS, I don't remember what the invoice price is, but I would not pay MSRP (ie 36865 + GST/PST = ~42.4K ... that's more that my GT!!). BUT I would pay 36865 ALL IN (taxes and all) ... for arguement sake 37K plus/minus a couple hundred.

Personally I would not get a GS in Canada because of the snow. I've never seen an Ottawa winter but I do know what Toronto and Calgary winters are like. The stability and traction control is a definite plus in snow and just all the overall goodies (leather, heated seats, autoleveling Xenon lamps, Homelink, alarm, etc) that you get for the extra ~3000 is worth it.

I know pickings are slim and dealers are trying to get rid of stock but see if they can find any GTs for you.

A general pricing thread:

Here is one with my invoice for a 04 GT:

Heh ... I think I should be RX8 Price Police.

I'm sorry bluefrenzy but my friend and I have both RX8, he drive a GT and I have the GS both 6 speed and I prefer the GS in the snow by far !! Much faster if you know how to drive a stick....don't hear the traction control going crazy all the time and not going anywhere !?Plus my seat are lot less slipperier than leather

Or you can just turn off the traction control.
