IMO, this guy isn't much of a threat. As you can see, he spent a good 20 minutes posting what I believe is complete bull, only to be subjected to numerous flames without a good retort. Hopefully, he won't be back.

Maybe he didn't post a retort because the flames came within an hour and a half of his post, he may not have been online. Anyway, is it really necesary to leave so many flames? Why not simply ask him to post a time slip or just wait until he does? If you're so sure that he is bsing and you don't care, then why bother posting? I will not believe this until I see the slip either, but I still don't think there is reason to be so hostile. I've said it once and I'll say it again, this forum was made for sharing info, not for yelling at each other over mindless nonsense.

You have to realize is that we are a flame happy bunch of RX8 owners. Especially the guys that been here awhile.

Without time slip, dyno charts, swore testimony by 15 eye witnesses, you are just asking for flame.

 

You know why all the flames? As said before, if he didnt care what anybody thought, why post it at all? To give hope? Hope of what?

Also, if yer gonna register and post on a forum, at least bother to read for 2 seconds on it. If he even looked at Ito's old 1/4 mile thread (he woulda have to, to even know Ito has the fastest claimed time) he would have seen the reactions to the no timeslip stuff.

We DID ask him to post a timeslip, and he said he doesn't have one and doesn't care if we don't believe him. That makes for a pointless thread and deserves all the flames we can muster.

As you said, this forum is for sharing info, not for useless threads like these that are arrogant and do nothing for the community.

 

Mugatu, I love reading you posts because most of them are funny or imformative. But you posted 6 minutes after he did with a "your post is bullsh*t" comment, there have been others who made the post and had to wait a little while before proof was posted. I totally agree with you though, this post was pretty worthless, but from my point of view, if it were left alone and didn't get many replies, he might go away, see what I mean? I'm adding to the post count now, but I just wanted to get my point across. Superscout, you probably shouldn't post again until you have a timeslip or a video or something.

He didn't even do a good job making up fake times, just looking at the times makes the whole thing look like BS. You trapped at 104 and didn't even break into the 13s, yet you managed to have one of the faster 60' times I've seen for the RX-8, next time if you're going to lie go big all the way...

but if a slip is posted, then what seriously can we see? the slips I got from my first time only had the car number on the slip.
