This is my first post on here hope this is the right place for this post. Until i bought my 8 i owned a truck and therefore had/have no idea about where to go to race or just drive fast (controlled setting). Any help or info would be nice. Thanks

 

If your looking to go fast i na straight line there is a 1/4 mile track in Marion.

If your looking to get into Autocross I think they run SCCA autocross at the Alamodome and other locations around town.

If your looking to get your full-on road racing fix you need to look into one of the driving schools or clubs at Texas World Speedway in College Station.

Hope this gives you some direction.

These folks participate in autocrossing and some other events, and can probably point you in the right direction.

 

I live in bulverde just north of sa. I joined the alamorx club but I havent been able to make a get together yet.

 

Yeah, I haven't been able to make any, either. I work up in Selma on Thursday evenings.
