tan in a sports car = ugly

 

where did you hear about the black cherry mica? perhaps from my poll here? or from a dealer? no there isnt any pics yet cause they havent painted one yet. maybe someoen can do a chop for you since it is a miata color.

 

Their is nothing wrong with tan in a sports car--they have no relevance to each other at all.

 

What?? It looks awesome on the Miatas and Z3's I've seen... and the Black Cherry/Tan Miata is sweet. I had the '96M Miata with Starlight Mica Blue- I wish they would have had that available on the RX8...

BRG + Luggage Tan + Triumph or MG = classic sports car look.
Doesn't get any better IMO.

 

Twin City Mazda in Knoxville is suppose to be getting 2 of these. They're only making 2,000 I heard.

 

Have to agree my other car is an MG and that combo looks great....

Actually Tan interior is very typical of high end classy sports cars

 

can someone do a chop? use the pic below of the galpinized rx-8 and change it to the black cherry that can be found in the mazdausa miata build section.

 

Sis-in-law used to have an MGB in British Racing Green and Tan, a few years ago she picked up a Jag XKR Conv. What color? British Racing Green w/ camel (tan) interior. Recently she came home for a visit and saw my car for the first time... she loved my Nordic/Chaparral combo, but didn't feel like swapping me for her JAG. :D

I don't think we're talking about the same thing... sounds like there's going to be a special edition this year (like Mazda has done in the past with the Miata, MX6, etc). The Miata's black cherry color is nothing like the RX8 Strato blue that's been sold in Japan.
