Exhaust Recall?

I recently went to my dealership to get my free oil change and take care of a few things... and I noticed that there were a couple of exhausts sitting against the wall... I didnt bother asking about them I figured 2 people are getting the exhausts changed or something... but they were sitting there... looked quite scary :/

anyone know anything about an exhaust recall on the 8's?

:/

They are replacements just in case your muffler spontaneously combusts.

Word. My muffler bearing took a crap one day and caused the muffler baffle meter to discharge creating a huge fireball... Didn't happen to my '8 though.

There have been reports of defective stock exhaust.

BUT most likely they are left over from Mazdaspeed exhaust install.

After all, if it was defective why would they keep them?

I think we are looking too deep into the mud puddle here.

KrazieKave, why didn't you just ask? Truth is often more fun than speculation...
