thump sound when starting

After parked for a long time (more than 3 hrs.), I start engine, and start to drive, I can hear wired sound inside front hood . It sounds like small thump of engine, not quite noisy but recognizable.
I am not sure where this sounds come from. Do you guys also heard a kind of wired sound when you start? Is it because the engine didn't warm up? There is no sound like this when I start engine and drive in a short period again.

Each time you start/drive the car the ABS system does a self check at 4mph (forward or reverse) and thats the clunk you hear.
