Accident
Was along the stretch of road along bugis making a left turn towards Sim Lim Square. Was on the second lane going to turn left. The lane is a left turning and go straight lane.
When light turn green, front car went straight. My left signal was on already, so start to turn left. At that moment, a motor cyclist zoom pass my left and graze my left front wheel arch. The motor cyclist lost control and fell forward across the street! I quickly turn my car and got out to see the motorist, luckily he is ok with a few bruises, but my precious car left indicator and the left side of the front bumper got scratch marks on top of that, front bumper also become not aligned. But the biggest heart pain is my brand new 1.5 weeks old rims!!!! Got deep scratch marks
Why on earth he went pass my left side when it is left turning lane? Why didn't he see that I was signalling left?? Why??? Oh well at least he admitted his fault. Now need to see tomorrow how much is the demage..whether to claim insurance or he pay out of pocket.
But at the end of the day, even it is his fault. Thank god he is ok. Anyway, I send him to a polyclinic for teatment...what a day

Did the motorcyclist get MC? If he did (3 days or more), it's a police case... Good that u didn't run off. PM me if u need advice. Cheers!

although it might not be fair to say that... i havto agree with him sometimes....
ALOT of motorcyclist like to ride as if they own the road...... as if they are god or somethin....
sqeezing in between cars whenever they have he chance...... if anything happens because of their reckless riding behaviour, too bad for them....

Hiya,
The motor cyclist did not have any MC so no need to report police, but I did made a statement just in case.
Went to IDAC this morning... and demage assessment are as follows-
Left Front wheel rim - Cut - Replace
Left front fender - Grazed - Repair
Left front fender lamp - Cracked - Replace
Front bumper - Distorted - Replace
Left front bumper side bracket - Bent - Replace
Left front bumper inner shield - Deformed - Replace
Letting the insurance take over... and thanks for the concern. At the end of the day, it is the inconveniences that I am angry about.

maybe you should try a placard of info-card telling them you in a rx-8 group cause for most cases if you wave and act too friendly, people may think you are being cocky(bragging rights). probably try another approach. as for celica club, i have seen them place papers on the person's car to join them but i am not in favour of this.

-Vs, Xs and sillycar with so many hell of gauges like 6 to tell them bed time, malaysia time, etc... worse.... corolla with 3 gauges and GT wing...its not a performance car so you dont need that stuff, stop blufffing yourself
(have a friend who used to drive a EK4 sir 1.8 spoon, has only apexi AFC but keep in the coin department.)
-POSER- have a sillycar GTR around my area and seen sunny GTR.... what else. THERE IS NO SUCH THING THING AS ACURA OR TYPE-R EK4

i tik i said these in the past forum that y does E's and X's always behave like this esp X's they tik their X's got turbo and the whole world is racing with them omg esp the previous owners that drive the civic and they change to a X's those ah bengs but we do have an ah beng here in the forum and he knows who he is haha! Anyway, neon, 2f2f are u guys intrested in my ecu coz i just called lee garage r and she said she could help if someone can kick the left door open i'm willing to sell the ecu!

Those stickers/decals are actually nice but when ppl keep putting the same thing it's kinda of boring and esp the ppl driving in them! Neon i need to get someone who is fit to kick the left side of the 8 coz the door is stuck! Yeah shall discuss more with u abt the price on sunday ya! :D
