Winter Floor Mats

I am looking for some good quality rubber winter floor mats, I would like to get an order in sometime soon to be on the safe side. I was wondering if anyone has purchased any from aftermarket places and how these compare to what the mazda dealers sell.

I purchased the Mazda floor mats last week, and returned them 20 min later. The grooves are not deep enough to hold down the H2O as a result the water stays to the surface which means constantly wet and slippery shoes.

try www.weathertech.com - I got them for my last Acura, they were terrific and only $79.00. Don't know if they have them to fit the -8 though.

I think the RX-8 all weather floormats are great. Unless you're tracking in a block of ice stuck to your boots, they seem plenty deep enough for me. I only use them on rainy days. The nice part is that they say "RX-8" and the grove pattern of the mats are shaped like little rotary engine housings.

They only thing I liked was the RX-8 logo. I just find the aftermarket floormats to be working better for me.
My initial experience with the Madza floormats was actually on a raining day.

Mine were $40 on ebay. They are ok - scuff easily, but do the job. Other aftermarket floormats may not fit exactly like Mazda products.

Yes these are the OEM Mazda ones, and the one's that came in ours fit exactly, that's why someone won't hesitate to jump on these for the right price.
