Is anyone in the West L.A. and/or west S.F. Valley area interested in meeting up and driving down together for SevenStock?

I plan on attending Saturday's events (September 11, 2004).

I'm assuming a boat-load of cars will be waiting at the gates which open at 9:00 a.m.

Therefore, I'll probably be heading out of the West. L.A. area around 7:30 a.m. or so to be down in Irvine around 8:30 a.m. Maybe sooner?

This is my first SevenStock so if anyone has suggestions on what time to arrive in Irvine please post. Thanks.

I'm interested if I am following someone who knows how to get there, as I don't.

Well, I may have to skip Saturday's events.

I would like to at least attend the event on Sunday at Racing Beat.

I'll post later this week what my status is for Saturday.



If anyone else wants to organize a drive down from West L.A., by all means go for it!

 

Right now I'm 50-50 on making it Saturday. If I do attend, I'll have to bolt by 1:00 p.m. I'm REALLY trying to make it work (and the possibility is good I'll be there).

Anyway, how many members in the L.A. area are interested in meeting up at some location around 6:45 - 7:00 a.m. to cruise down to SevenStock ???

I'm trying to get an idea for a meeting place. I'm thinking something in West L.A. so we can just take the 405 to Irvine.

I'm assuming around 7:00 a.m. is okay to meet?

 

I'm in Park LaBrea (across from the Grove).

There is a Starbucks at Santa Monica and the 405 which is open insanely early in the morning and has a small lot. Be fun to fill it with 8's :D

Since so many people have suggested arriving early, maybe we should begin to filter in 6:30-6:45 and plan to roll at 7:00.

 

Okay, guys. This is getting down to the wire...

Do we want to do it at the Starbucks at Santa Monica and 405? That's cool with me, as it is much closer to my location than I thought we would be meeting.

 

I don't have an address and I'm sure there's several Starbucks in the area.

My suggestion is a baseball park at the corner of Sepulveda and Ohio. It's between Wilshire and Santa Monica Blvd. You can't miss this park.

That ballpark is fine (I actually park there every day), or the Starbucks - the one I speak of is at Pontius and SM (right next to ING Direct building)... Let me know before tomorrow afternoon. The Starbucks I would prefer because at least then I can hang out and get a coffee while waiting. I will do my best to be at whichever place about 6:30-6:45.

 

I don't care, as long as someone can give me a link to mapquest or some explicit directions from Melrose and Vine (I've only been here a month and a half, so I still haven't learned many areas except Hollywood).

From the 405 freeway, Take the CA-55, North. Take the 1st exit: Macarthur Blvd, at the bottom of the ramp make a RIGHT, heading East. Go on Macarthur for a light or two until you come to Red Hill Make a LEFT onto Red Hill, Go for about a half block(fairly short distance), and make a left on Reynolds Ave. You can't miss the Mazda Sign, or the activity!!
