much uglier than the 8...it still has that nasty Jaguar grill...the back is kind of cool and the interior too...but the Jag will probably set you back over 50gs so lets have a recap:

Ugly Jag that makes me poor...
Or Sweet 8 that makes me happy...

my obnoxious .02cents

It was posted at the time that show car was first released, last year (that's never going to be produced by Jaguar, it's just a one-off show car). Yes, there's a definite family resemblance to the RX-8.

A quick forum search for "jaguar r-d6" turned up the first mention in this forum thread on Sept 10, 2003 . There was a whole thread about the R-D6 in this Sept 18, 2003 thread, RX-8 and R-D6 separated at birth? . (Before someone else shouts "do a search, newbie", I just want to mention that it took all of about 10 seconds to actually check if this had been posted or discussed before! )

Regards,
Gordon

Oh God, not this again. The Jaguar and the RX-8 are almost dopplgangers to each other. It's freaky, but the RX-8 looks much better.

An RX-8 is heading east at 120 mph. A Crossfire is heading west at 90 mph. When they collide, what do you get?

Subtract the styling
Average the features
Subtract the uniqueness
Add the prices

Its a Jag.

Taken from auto-mathematics 101.
