what color should i paint my calipers? i have a nordic green 8 with 19" bronze wheels. here are some pics. i thought about black but would like some input.

 

Barbados Yellow, so they stand out, actually a deep red but not really bright would look better.

 

Black with a nordic green rx-8 or mazdaspeed decal on them.

 

do white- it would be very clean looking with your beautiful machine

 

Yellow with black letters, or Red with Black Letters.

 

white sounds nice (hard to keep cleen but nice).... i wanted to do something a little different then red. i was thinking of matching the bronze on my wheels????????

 

I would go with black on the calipers and on the center area of the rotor.

 

Silver to match the strakes.

Seriously, I'd do black calipers with red, yellow, or silver letters; or silver calipers with black letters.

Actually Silver with 'mazda' or 'rx8' stenciled on would be cool...stenciled in black

Hold on your horses mate... do MazdaSpeed blue (that is the light sky blue) like the colour of this brake pads.

silver might not be hard to find but that blue might be tough to find in in a caliper paint. anyone know where i can get something like that?

 

Dunno about the paint... may be someone else can help but PoLak can sell you stencils that make a MazdaSpeed logo on it like cotc's .... very nice

 

the G2 caliper paint is designed to stay clean, not have brake dust adhere to it, and generally stays as clean as the rest of your car if not better! (I do not work for them or anything)

the only thing is, you might be limited to the colors the manufacturer of said caliper paint offers! (again I don't work for G2 but they sure have a lot of caliper colors compared to other manufacturers offering specifically made-for-caliper paint, also the G2 is a thick epoxy so dries smooth and lessens a lot of the roughness associated with the surface of our OEM calipers)

 

If you go with Red your car with look like Christmas haha, dont do it. Paint them white with Black RX8 decal, it will look good with the clear corners.

 

do you guys know where i can find some g2 caliper paint cause im changing my brake pads tonight and ive been looking for some black caliper paint but no ones had any. appreciate any help guys
ps... i dont want to wait for it to ship so im looking for some autoparts place thatll sell it

 

Thanks Taka! I Think I Am Going To Search For The Light Blue I Think It Will Go Great With The Green. That G2 Stuff Looks Like The Real Deal Its Just Too Bad It Is Limited By The Color Selection. Thanks All Ill Be Sure To Post Pics Of The Finished Product!

I like red but most peeps use red or yellow. You want something different than that paint them Nordic Green like yer car. They'll sure to look saweet & attract attention & not match every other Civic in the parking lot. Nordic Green w/yellow RX-8 on caliper would be the best in my opinion. Wont show the dirt..& we all now those front brakes get dirty fast & yellow rx-8 would stand out nice. There's my 2 cents....anyone got change for a nickel?
