Passenger Side "Smart-Airbag"
While reading an article on Autoweek.com, I found the following:
"Last September automakers began installing automatic airbag shutoff systems in 2004-model cars and trucks. Twenty percent of all new vehicles sold in the 2004 model year have them. By Sept. 1, 2006, all new vehicles sold in the United States must have the system. "
Has anyone heard if the 2005 RX-8 will have this feature, or will they wait untill they have to in 2006?
I hope it has it. I hate losing 25% of the car's seating capacity because my kids can't ride in the front seat.
