I hit thunderhill this tuesday. Another fun day out and my first with the RB stuff.

Mods are RB swaybars and end links, RB springs, RB exhaust, RB oil cooler screens, Kumho Ecsta MX 245/40/18, and CZ 1.1.

Compare the pics here to my last time out and you can see a significant reduction in body roll. The car felt great though with heavy track use I could use more dampening. I am waiting for someone to release some decent shocks are I will just end up buying the MS ones but I would rather have something adjustable.

96 deg heat out was hard on the cars. My only problem was burning two coils. Slowed me down on the straights.

 

You burnt two ignition coils and you stayed on the track?

Did not notice until the end of the day. I knew something was wrong early on but did not figure it out until later. Does not matter. It still drives. Just no power down low.

I should mention I will be pulling the CZ 1.1 out today until this coil thing gets figured out.

 

Murix, did your CZ came with the capacitor mod RX8-friend was talking about? Or did that only apply to the next batch?

 

No capacitor mod that I am aware of.

 

Same thing that happened to me when I did Homestead. Still deciding if I wanna put the box back in.
