Blitz flex spoiler (RX-8 used for demo)
This is a new product from Blitz - it is a hard platic compound and come in double side sticker at the base. (Cost 10000yen for 2 meters)

The picture below show the lip of the side of the MazdaSpeed front spoiler and even a layer under the lip (presume to get less air in and protect the bottom)
The side was claimed to have more down force - certainly have seen a lot of EVO 8 has it. This is a potential rice product for, say, you non-evo Lancers :o
But I think it is a good idea to protect the front spoiler, although I don't know by how much :o
