What happened to the forum background ?! i have only a white background and in the upper left corner of the site a "vBulletin"-icon. what's about the blue coloursheme with the different rx8 pics ? changing the colorsheme in the options is not possible....

 

looks like they changed it.. but you can tell it to go back to dark blue go th user prefrances.. down at the bottem of the page

I tried the three view options at the bottom. They all look cheap. Give me back the old look!

 

they upgraded the system to vBulletin v. 3, which has a LOT of new features.

hopefully the owners will open their wallets and buy some new skins for the forum

 

if it's going to cost some $ to do some skins like the old forum.. They need to let us know! I know I will throw some $ their way!

 

The Corvetteforum also switched to vBulletin last nite. I've had twice as much trouble signing on, and figuring where things are.

I really liked the old forum, but this one has new more features? Like what? Well all in due time I guess we will find out, but they need to hurry up and make skins for it. I feel like this is a cheap Ricer forum now. ;(

 

oo, i meant on the old forum, on the home page, there use to be a general view new post in which it showed all the subjects with new post. i cant seem to find that. i got what you were talking about, but wasnt what i was looking for. but thanks man. i just think its not here anymore

Yeah, I'm also looking for the "View New Posts", which lists ALL posts in ALL forums in time, date order.

Also, the "View Active Threads" link was one of my favorites. It was nice to be able to look at new posts across all forums without logging in.

I DO like the new look, though.

Thanks for that, Jason. That view is my preferred way to surf the forum, so I was really going to miss it if it had gone away.

I quite like the new "face" of the forum - I was one of the diehards who never liked the blue interface anyway and stuck with the "old school" as long as possible - though I would like to see a reduction in the width of the borders in this new skin. Seems like an awful waste of screen real estate to have an unused inch on either side of the window. In order to prevent most thread titles wrapping onto two lines, I now have to use a much larger browser window.

 

Like a new WYSIWYG editor and a graphical display of your PM usage, to name only two that I have found in the first 15 minutes. Look around.

 

I am begining to liek this one better, I just wish they would of edited so it would of been updated with all the RX8 logos and things in one update.

 

The new forum skin sucks. I am not opposed to the new features, but there's just too much whitespace, squinting, and scrolling for the site to be useful.

 

I agree. The old style was easier to read. I don't care so much about new features, reading the site is the main feature.

 

How do I find the new messages posted since my last visit? I don't see any links on the home page.
