Sticker weight

My 6spd GT w/ sunroof (no nav) has a weight of 3865 lbs on the door sticker, how is this possible?!?

It's wrong, closer to 3,000lbs.

That is GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) - the weight of the car plus a full rated load of passengers, fuel and cargo.

The actual weight of the car empty is 3053 lbs. (1385 kg)
