Anyone found any really good quality samples of how the car sounds?

Best I've heard so far were in the BestMotoring videos, particularly "Time Attack" where he's really pushing it. (Looks like the pedals will work well for heel'n'toe BTW, even for little Japanese feet).

There's a few snippets on mazda.co.jp but they're either too short or swamped by blaring and truly *awful* music. And there was me thinking they couldn't do any worse than "Zoom Zoom Zoom"...

search for borla flame video or something, there is a video of a rx8 with the borla exhuast. also there is one with 3 rx8's with differnet things like a K&N intake and borla. Just search for some and youll get them, unless someone else knows where there at...

there was a toll free phone number that you can call then press 8 and you can hear the rx-8 engine , do a search , I'm sure you can find it

 

i have the sound file on my pc somewhere. i made it the sound you here when my comp boots up and shuts down. it goes from just starting to like 9k.
