I would if i could get out to the dealer, since its sunday they are closed. somebody on the board i thought had this info available.

 

Well, it's definitely a new model :D

0129503 = incremented number.

0109161 = my VIN. I guess mine was built 07/2003 or 08/2003?

Annual output = 30,000 --> 2500 a month

since your number is 20000 higher than mine, it prolly was built 8 months later than mine, that would put it in March or April of 2004.

The recalls definitely would have been applied in those models.

All the recalls and Service buletins do state the VIN# ranges, so if you go find them, that should tell you if the service should have been performed or not. I would still ask and not assume as dealerships are not always up to date on things.

 

Just register the VIN# in mymazda and it will show u what recalls it has.
