Has anyone taking off their rock guard decals???.....

I took mine off today....the car looks hotter witout em'.... but am a little bit worried about paint chipping.....

Anyone have any experince????

I got the dealer to take um' off while they were detailing the car...Im jus hoping no rocks really hit it...

I was watching them do it...... All they did was peel it back really really slowly...and then sprayed the area with sumthing and wiped the area clean....

I dunno about those....they took off the ones which are ontop of the rear tire fenders.....

 

Keep use informed . I would really love to remove the ones you did. the ones under the door do not bother me, so i will leave them.

bad idea. I just had the whole fender coverd in clear bra. that stuff mazda uses is the 3m clear bra stuff.. that area will get hit by many rocks.

 

I dunno..it doesnt look good on the car.....

 

nor due chips and dings.

I have a pretty nasty little gash at the top of the driver side rear fender clear bra. I'm pretty sure if that clear bra wasn't there it'd have taken some paint off the car. As it is now, the bra is frayed and there is a very tiny ding from the impact. So it works, and it's there for a reason...I don't know why you'd take them off.

Everyone has their own taste...i didnt like the way the rock guards made the car look.....

if i get a paint chip or a ding..then i'll deal with it than....
