prototype in works... what do you guys think?

My friends are developing an aero kit similar to the Mazdaspeed kit and adding what they believe was missing from Mazdaspeed's. Here are some pictures...what do you guys think?

What will it be made out of, and what do you expect costs to be?

I like the bumper.

very nice .... looks alot better than the ones they sell off ebay >< ... look at where the clear corner lights mount , looks to be very good fit , tell them to keep up the good work , and I beleive it looks like fiberglass , can't really tell from the pics.

What did they think was missing from the original MS kit that they want to add.

haha thats an early assumption. You can only really tell when the kit gets painted, then you will see what is crap and what is not.

keep us posted
I think the extra vents in the rear bumper are not needed

but the front looks good and like it would match the fender more

Other than the rear bumper, there was a noticable difference. The front bumper from the MS kit was missing a "fender" like the stock bumper. The initial piece that's made is hand laid fiberglass. Once the mold is made you can probalby go urethane, fiberglass, plastic, etc. Other than that I was just asking about the general concept and "look" of the work sofar.

I think my friends are going to push urethane... I'll keep everyone informed.

The rear vent idea is in planning phase... the pictures were taken a few months ago.

Personally, I'd like it better without the vent... but it does at least make the rear unique.
