Leather Seats in the Summer

Any suggestions on how to keep your back cool during hot summer road trips? Has anyone tried seat pads, and have any suggestions on makes/models that still allow you to be held by the seats?

Mmm...in general, i find the leather seats to be ok...it's the hot leather steering wheel and shifter that burn me.

Wear a shirt/top made of CoolMax or some other ultra-wicking fabric. Or, turn on the AC :p

Or get one of those taxidriver bead things.

Love the leather, but it's no fun in the summer when I live in shorts and skirts I just grin and bear it. Fortunately, I've got a high tolerance for pain

I got cloth too. Love it. Let me ask the pro leather folks... How many pairs of leather pants do you own? Ah ha ha ha. Too funny. They probably didn't just go out of style, they probably just didn't breathe as well as cotton (cloth). Don't give into the hype. Cloth all the way!!! My opinion only, by the way. Unless of course you plan on dropping food and drink all over your seats and need to wipe the sludge off weekly.

My first choice between cloth v leather is cloth. But I had to have the red/black scheme, so I went with leather. My car is garaged at home and at work, but when it's not I really regret my leather choice,
