Parking Brake Q

My parking brake feels a little loose... when it is down I can move it really easily up and down before it clicks once... is this normal for everyone else?

Yup, normal. Mine moves easily up about an inch or so before spring tension is felt.

My e-brake failed and it rolled down a hill...i don't trust the damn thing to save my life!
