ok so you may have already read a few post of mine and you know i have installed a DVD player. well it worked for about a day.. but now it acts like any dvd i put in it is not really a good disk. it will however still play music cds.

This is really odd..

 

maybe the lense itself is dirty? try maybe one of thoses cd's that has the little brush on it..

havent really done too much actually lol... i started soldering the osd box and shopped around for the pioneer box.. i think i might get the newer model of the gex-p700tv because it comes with antenna's. it doesnt have the remote with it but i found a guy who will give me the remote for 25.00 ... i havent been able to work on my stuff that much cause im working 30 hours a week and taking 12 credits to graduate school.. its chaos let me tell you.. but slowly things are getting done

ok now im drooling.. thats not fair.. that setup looks badass.. thats the blaupunkt unit i presume i was also looking into that one! great minds tink alike hahah. one question about it.. i know it supports mp3's and dvd's so could you make a 4.7gig mp3 disc? or can it only be a cd-r?

i think both but i look in the book.. I belive they intend for you to rip mp3s to a cd r ..

Still fine. it has a built in EQ for you audio to so i can make my crappy Bose system sound good
with the Remote
