just went out to go to lunch today and my driver's side visor has cracked from the heat and split across the top. guess I'll have to carry it in and hope they dont try to make me pay for it!

has anyone else experienced this?

 

This has actually happened to a few people, and I believe it was during the winter. I don't think heat is a factor. It should definitely be covered by warranty. I'm not finding the comments from other people in a quick search, unfortunately, but I am pretty sure you're not alone in this.

 

this just happened to me last weekend!!!!! and yes I believe it was heat related, cause I simply flipped it down, and it split and hot glue came out all over! really sucked cause then it just hung down in the way! took it to the dealer a few days ago- falls under warranty- just have to wait for a new one to come in

 

Yes! Just a few weeks ago in fact. I drove to Mazda Service, the removed the busted one for me and ordered a new one. I had it installed a few days later and I'm good to go. No charge.

 

it ruined my afternoon though
