Lets get a damn meet together already!... I say we make it at night, or at least after 5, so work isnt a problem, a friday would be a good idea...so school isnt a problem..

...Well, yea, its real easy for three of us to decide a place..we need more people, Id like to get together a .big. meet..like all of the LI'ers..I figured somwhere in the middle of the island where we could all meet..But first we need people to respond to this thread besides us three..

 

first we need to pick a date and time..

how is july 9th? yes a little over a month but good time to plan if we wann find a spot for bbq and more...

 

No offense, I just want to give some hopefully helpful advice. One of you guys should pick a time and place (in conjunction with one other owner) and start a specific thread here and if you are interested in widening the audience, also on rx7club.com and nopistons.com. I will bet you get responses, someone just needs to take charge.
Our local club got 4 rx8s at our first meet, 8 at the second (along with 8 rx7s) and 14 rx8s at the third (along with something like 35 rx7s). We can't wait to keep growing. Anyway good luck and just remember someone has to be boss. Thank god we have Irish in an Rx8 or we probably never would have gotten together.

July 9 would be good for me. As for a place I think along Rt 110 would be central for most. The parking lot by Walt Whitman Mall is never full but it may be too far north for some.

..The 9th sounds great..9pm, sounds a bit late however, How does like 7..sound?..Maybe we can hit up applebees, then cruise to DPA?..or somthing like that..We should definetly plan some sort of drive with this..

personally id rahter not goto DPA.. last thing i need is tickets.. only reason i say 9 is to give people time who work and those motivated individuals who work late on fridays.

i see no reason why others cant come out.. its all for fun...

 

Hey, I would love to see the rx7 club come out. Make it a family outing

 

7:00 would be better for me. There is a car show at the south end of the mall every Friday night for 1978 and older cars. A few nice cars if you're into hot rods and some classics too. I was there tonight with a friend and his Cobra.
