Found a video of the RX-8 Mazdaspeed concept on japaneese impress TV site.

Look further down this page and you'll find a little picture of an Mazdaspeed RX-8 under the "2003-1-17" heading.
Can someone capture the large (300k) streamed video and post it somewhere to download!?

I'm sure everyone here will appreciate it

Click on the picture of the RX-8 Mazdaspeed and the stream page should pop up.

Really nice to see the titanium in daylight, and you can see a closeup of the breaks and wheels!

The Mazdaspeed is sunlight silver

 

I never realized that the engine cover in the mazdaspeed was was carbon fiber.:D

 

I've still got a distaste for that car... I love the RX-8 in its standard form... nothing needs to be done.

Make the Mazdaspeed a sleeper, and people can still dress it up if they want to. You can't 'undress' it though

 

to bad they didnt drive it, i bet the thing abuses tarmac.

nah it is silverstorm- the same as the mazdaspeed6 (or was it mps) concept they showed in europe

 

I consider myself a Nissan/Z guy, but I've gotta give it up to Mazdaspeed for building a pretty sweet looking car. Anyone have any specs on it? I wonder how it'll stack up against the Nismo Z --- they have a 450hp crate engine available for it, among other goodies. Image below:

The link finally worked after downloading Media Player 9.

It´s nice to see a this car tuned. Without to many changes.
The only thing that I m missing are the subtitles
I wonder when Veilside will reveil their bodykit. Or any other
bodykit manufactorer.:D Veilside also was very fast with their bodykit for the 350Z in three different types.

Hmmm... this concept has potential. Obviously, they'll need to tone it down a little bit (or rather, a lot) for production.

 

I did like it when I first saw it... now not so much. I love the rims and cf inside the hood. But other than that I almost feel as if I would buy the car then buy oem rx-8 parts to replace the mazdaspeed body stuff.
