i've only seen a few 8's around my area, one is yellow with strakes, and the other is a red gt with nothing.

i was wondering if anyone on this forum was one of these people.

I believe that my RX-8 is the yellow one with the strakes. I'm not from Kitchener though, I'm from Cambridge. Every week, I go a car meet called Vital Motion. It's located at Sportsworld, at 7pm every Wednesday. You can check out www.vitalmotion.net to see pics of the weekly meets.

PS: I've seen the red RX-8 also

 

i see the yellow one i'm talking about parked near KCI highschool in a parking lot at an apartment, so you're probibly not the same owner, but maybe

I have one of the VR 8's in K-W. I have seen at least one other VR in town. Washed and Zainoed it today for the first time this year. It turned out fine.

Hey guys... I'm from Kitchener, I have a Winning Blue 8, too (license plates say KAIA). I saw a yellow one once a month or so ago at Fischer-Hallman & Highland, and someone in Beechwood has a silver one, but I haven't seen much else.

 

Keep looking, K-town (as my kids call it) isn't that big. I expect we should bump into each other (figuratively) eventually.

BTW, everytime I see another 8 on the road, I am still struck with how good it looks from another driver's perspective.

 

It would be nice to meet some 8 owners in KW area. Too bad, I can only afford a Miata now.

 

I'm from Cambridge. I've seen a few 8s around but only while driving the suburban or the mx6. I have a Titanium -8.

Some kids tried to take the mazda logo and the RX-8 off, $100 bucks later and Iv'e got a clean logo but the RX is on backorder. So for now I am driving the only Mazda -8 out there.

 

Oops. That's too bad. I hope this time you will put a lock on those new factory emblems of yours.
