What's up, RX8club! You all have shared a bunch of different custom battery mounting concepts over the years, so i pulled inspiration from many of them when coming up with this kit. It is quite similar to the style of RE Amemiya but a hair different in implementation based on what materials i had available. I think overall it is a lightweight, strong mounting solution that open up the radiator for better cooling, puts the battery a LITTLE further from the hot air near the radiator and exhaust manifold, while still preserving fairly good cranking performance. If you've got a welder and know how to use it, this is a pretty fun little project!
