Owner 2004 RX eight grand touring/6B manual
I hope someone can somewhat solve my curiosity. As noted I do have a 2004 grand touring RX 8/6 speed manual transmission. Do I have a four port or a six port engine?

You have the 6 port engine. Mazda called it the "High Power" engine. It was initially rated at 250 hp, but some creative ecm programming dropped the power down to 238 hp. At least that's what I've read. Mazda could have just been hyping the power numbers up on the early cars to attract potential sales.
