Another SevenStock is in the books and I think we gave the Irwindale Speedway one hell of a send off.
Friday, Nov 15th - setup
trying to turn an empty parking lot into something cool. Time to unload all the stuff we had stored at SS Hq and start setting up Rotary pinatas for the kids! laying out our flags to figure out what goes where I've always liked flying prior year banners at the event so we used the grandstands for that. these shipping containers look ugly so we decided to cover them with banners
this guy wins for the coolest car cover.
friday nigh VIP event for our International guests
Saturday Nov 16th
cars and support vehicles arriving first thing in the morning had mine inscribed with 'Rotary Spirit' Team Zebra came out last year and always cool to see these guys. that's a very unique build. super clean FD who recently got sent to CA State Ref. That won't be a fun inspection...
That's all I've got, hope everyone enjoyed a little peak into this years event.
I wasn't able to take nearly as many pictures as I would have liked with things just being SO busy this year as this was by far our biggest crowd at SevenStock in quite a few years.
if you were there or see any cool pics on socials, feel free to contribute.
Is that the 12 rotor dahm was rebuilding that was Originally a boat motor?
Thanks for sharing
yup, this is the engine that made it's debut at SevenStock 14 for what was supposed to be a speed boat project.
Dahm scooped up the motor recently and decided that 12 rotors wasn't enough, it also needed Turbos!

SevenStock 26 - Nov 16th 2024
the motor has changed just a tad but still quite sexy.
Last but not least, the Team that makes all of this happen! This year we included family in the pictures as all of them are making sacrifices so that we can spend hundreds of hours each year planning and putting on this crazy little bbq of ours.
I think the best part about being associated with this group is that everyone here does it for the passion of the event. Not a single person on this committee is paid or makes a single penny on SevenStock. We do it because we love it.
some of the guys have to fly in for the event from out state and one of our members even comes in from Australia every year to assist.
my hat is off to the Team for putting on another incredible event.
oh and shameless plug.
if anyone digs the merchandise / apparel we do have limited quantities left over and they're available online. https://www.rotary13b1.com/c/sevenstock.html
Event looked awesome Jedi and thanks for sharing in such detail! I really wanted to go (especially given the somewhat tentative nature of future events) but it just wasn't in the cards this year. I did have some friends go and they were kind enough to sent me some cool pics. I was really impressed with this madaz built 1st gen, wow. Lets' see some more pictures of that super clean early production silver RX4 if you got any!
