As the title suggests all modules are showing CAN failures or errors, on my 2004 rx8 got a big expensive scan tool (Xtool D8s) that gives me a ton of useful info but finding the correct meanings of some of the bigger codes is seeming to be an impossible task, I'm mainly looking at U0073 "fault of controller area network (can communication bus)" shows on most modules, Is this referring to the part within the ECU that manages the entire CAN bus system? Such as the ABS, TCM, RKE, EPS, IC? Can a short circuit wreck this part of an ECU? if not what does? truly any ideas on this its puzzling and id love to solve it and have this car going again would appreciate any help.
